The Company SBC BOTTLING & CANNING GROUP is the result of the merge of two well reputated leading brands – BC(1950) and Sima(1988), respectively leaders in the design and production of machinery for the beverages and food industries.
Today SBC BOTTLING AND CANNING GROUP relies on its four operational units that determine its core business. The fields of application, both in the supply of individual machines and integrated turn-key plants are:

Beverage: water (still and sparkling), drinks (still and sparkling), fruit juices, energy and isotonic drinks, tea, beer, wines (still and sparkling) and spirits

Dairy: yogurt drinks

Food:
tomato and by-products, vegetables, preserves, jams, sauces, dressings, mayonnaise, ketchup, soups, ready meals, meat, tuna, paté, edible oils, condensed and evaporated milk, special beverages, wet pet-food.

The containers can be made of different materials:
glass, PET, rigid plastic, aluminium and steel.

The Divisions:
SBC sovereigns the integration of all activities, but the design and production locations are organised in Divisions, each one focused on its technological field.

BC Beverages Filling Division:
studies, designs and produces machinery for bottling drinks and yogurt drinks (primary packing).

Sima Food Filling and Closing Division:
dedicated to the study, design and production of machinery for canning, bottling and dosing for the Food and Pet-food industries (primary packing).

Progeco Beverage Processing Division: already established within the BC Company, it is specialised in the design and production of processing systems for both the beverage and the food industry.

BPM Packaging Machinery Division:
established in 2000 to complete the supply of complete lines, it designs and produces automatic machines and lines for secondary packing (packaging and filled containers handling) in addition to palletisation and storage.
